Some of the most amazing days on the bike happen in places you didn’t even imagine riding. Taiwan is a true gem, an island that consistently takes our breath away every time we click in the pedals and start riding there.

Pas Normal Studios have spent the last years combining our passion for riding with the local knowledge to come up with the best Taiwan has to offer. The result is an eight-day adventure, combining a week’s worth of riding with the exhilarating challenge that is the Taiwan KOM.

What to expect

The Taiwan KOM Challenge is second to none in the world of cycling. We have very limited spots for only a select group of lucky riders.

This all-inclusive adventure spans 8 days - including the race day. We will have ample time to explore and be familiarised with Taiwan on two wheels.

The route

Having started in 2012, the Taiwan King of the Mountain Challenge - or more simply known as the Taiwan KOM Challenge has now become one of the most prestigious one-day cycling challenges in the world. An experience completely unmatched by any other climb in the world.

The challenge itself is 105 km long, starting at sea level in Hualien, passing through some amazing gorges and passes. The race reaches its toughest and most challenging sections on the final 10 kilometres, ending atop Wuling Pass on Mt. Hehuan. 3275m above sea level.
